Official update to my upcoming game as the rulebook has finally been released and now I'm painstakingly working on each race within the Mass Effect canon, though expanding on each one based on certain lore and war assets they bring to the fight in Mass Effect 3. The Alliance has been done, the Asari are 50% the way there as are the Turians. So far no other race has been done but there are 7 races within the Citadel Council Races fleet book alone after much discussion with my friend (and fellow playtester) about which way I was going to do it. Eventually I realised that the races are there on the Citadel and do have ambassadors on the station, but do not have a seat on the council, not sure why that is, maybe the Turians, Asari, and Salarians are racists? :D 

The unit lasts are far less than I realised when compiling the Systems Alliance roster with only a handful of ships for that side which is kind of joke considering the one-two page spread for each race for Star Trek. However in saying that there is plenty of room to expand upon with new abilities that can be added or weapon fire mode changes, or even entirely new ships that can be added. This is why I added a Primary and Secondary fleet rule to the game so you have some variety in what you take though you can go for an entire Primary fleet if you want, and I have to admit seeing a battleline of Turian ships facing off a fleet of NPC Reapers with my friend playing as the Alliance with just as many ships is something to behold in itself.
